1957 Chevrolet Bel Air Chrome Details

This 57 Chevy is a nice project car. It’s a running, driving car. There are no dents on the body, all straight lines. All the exterior trim is there and in good shape. The windows roll up and down nicely, has all inside trim. The VIN on the car has V for V8 and C for Bel Air. This makes it a real Bel Air. Its got potential to be a great car with a restoration; it also has original black plates. The car is a running and driving project; with a very solid body. Both these cars were pulled out of a shop where they sat for 28 years in a dry climate. This is a running driving project (WE HAVE ONLY DRIVEN IT DOWN THE STREET; IT NEEDS WORK TO BE A REAL DRIVER OR A RESTORATION). It would not take much to be a basic driver though, and then restore it later. I have not had the motor apart, but the previous owner said the motor is balanced, blueprinted, and had all the right stuff in it. It has a Turbo 400 Trans and a 12 bolt rear. Either of the 57’s I have is a great start to get a solid 57 running or a great start for a restoration. Don’t save $8,000 in buying Junker rust out, only to spend one extra year in the body shop doing rust repair, not to mention more money than $8,000 in work, only to have a pieced together car.
