1960 MGA 1600 Roadster Convertible

We are selling this car for a good customer of ours. He just spent about $15,000 on repairs.
The car was bought from a friend of his and pushed out of the garage where it has sat for around 20 years.
We have gone throught the car for him and made it a good driving ready to go fun car. Though, some other car has come

I will just touch on some of the work done and the condition of the car.

INTERIOR

The interior is all new with real leather seats. The metal frames were painted, new foam, and leather covers.
There is also new carpet and the surrounds around the cockpit are new. All the wooden pieces were replaced

MECHANICAL

Water pump, belts, rebuilt original carburators, new master cylinder/hydraulic clutch unit, some gaskets, new generator and voltage regular, battery, and on and on. We have folders of receipts.

I WOULD HAVE TO USE THIS WHOLE ADD TO LIST EVERYTHING REPLACED.

All the lights, new headlight switch, work as they should including the brake lights, and the dash lights.

The speedometer works as does the tach.

Brakes: hoses, metal lines, wheel cylinders, pads and shoes replaced. Master cyl / Clutch cylinder replaced.
The engine runs great. No smoking or funny noises. We just did an valve adjustment.

Starts right up every time.

BODY

New inner rockers and surrounding piceces were welded in. Nice solid metal body.

EXTERIOR

The paint was blended and touched up where the new rockers were welded in. The condition of the paint is old patina fun driver paint.
Yes it does shine well, but the overall condition of the paint is of old paint with a great worn in patina.

This is a fun driver quality car. Ready to have fun with.

New tires, and the wheels were sandblasted and painted first.

UNDERSIDE

The underside is pretty solid. The frame is in great shape. The wood underneath on the floors is in good shape. It is not a rusted out car. Just a driven dirty underside, with just light surface rust as expected. The underside is driver quality, but nice and solid.

TOP

A top and frame come with the car. The vinyl and windows are in old shape. The side zip windows come with the car, they are in okay older but solid shape. But there is no attachments on the top and other wise for them now.

The top frame is old, but in solid shape.

Trailer queen it is not, but a fun driving car.

We are open to trades. Please email pictures and a description of the car to sakmotors@gmail.com
